What can I do to facilitate a simple and efficient closing?

Fill out and return Buyer Information Sheet within 24 hours of receipt.

How do I check the status of my closing?

Your initial email from our office will include the contact information for the team member who will assist you. Please contact this individual for all questions related to your closing experience.

How do I pay my Earnest Money Deposit?

You have three options:

  • Make your payment online.
  • Wire funds using wiring instructions provided by your BK team member.
  • Mail a check to our office at 13925 Ballantyne Corporate Place, Suite 400; Charlotte, NC 28277.

Where should my lender send the title request?

This should be sent to: Closingteam3@bandklaw.com

When will I receive my Settlement Statement?

We will send the settlement statement three business days prior to closing unless we are awaiting payoff or other information from a third party.

How do I provide my funds to close?

Wire your closing funds the business day prior to closing, if possible. If not, the same day is acceptable. Wiring instructions will be provided by your BK team member.

Does my spouse need to attend closing if they are not on the property deed?

If the property is in North Carolina, spouses are required to sign some closing documents.

What can I do to facilitate a simple and efficient closing?
  • Fill out and return Seller Information Sheet within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Provide Owner’s Title Insurance Policy you received when you purchased the property. This document should be included in your closing documents.
  • Email HOA Management Company to ensure your property is compliant and there are no restrictions.
  • Provide other fees referenced in the contract.

How do I check the status of my closing?

We work very hard to record and disburse funds on the day of signing. However, closings after 2 pm may fund the following business day.
