However, closings after 2pm or those having documents that have not been received by our office, may fund the following business day.

*In South Carolina and Georgia, recording occurs after funding.

Once our team verifies clear title, receives payoffs and other info requested, and the Lender sends closing instructions, we will prepare the settlement statement.  The estimated cash required to close will be shown on this settlement statement.

   • Prefer a traditional closing experience? Our in-office signing is designed with you in mind.
   • Our team welcomes you to our beautiful office located in the Ballantyne Office Park at a specified date and time. One of our knowledgeable attorneys will be your guide, reviewing and facilitating your signing.
2. ON THE ROAD
   • We’ll take our roadmap metaphor one step further, and actually hop in the car to meet you. Remote signing is ideal for clients who put a premium on convenience.
   • We offer this service through a network of signing agents who meet you at your specified time and place. Our team of professional attorneys is at your service for any questions.
3. GO VIRTUAL
   • Innovation is king at BK, so we roll with the times. eSigning is the solution for clients who prefer an electronic platform.
   • This option does require lender approval. BK will facilitate an electronic signing through a network of e-notaries and e-signing agents.

You will receive an email from BK that starts the closing process and introduces the team member who will steer you through every turn in the road. 

Please complete and return your Buyer or Seller Information Sheet within 24 hours to ensure we stay on course.  

Sit back in the passenger seat while our experienced title team performs a public record search.

We identify the property description, ownership, taxes, judgments/liens, mortgages, etc. Title Search and Commitment will go to the Lender.

Is your property part of a Homeowners Association (HOA)?

We contact the HOA to identify fees that must be paid before closing. Our team will also request mortgage payoffs at this stop along the roadmap.
